Founder and President
Karen Cleveland founded Preferred Power Solutions, Inc. (PPS) in 2011, with its headquarters in Kern County, CA. Karen takes pride in the fact that Preferred Power Solutions is a Woman Owned Small Business Electrical Construction Company that provides thorough, diligent work on every project.
Karen is rooted in the community and has created a company that believes in teamwork; teaming with clients, colleagues, and the community is an important part of how PPS does business. This is carried out by supporting clients nationwide across multiple markets and industries: state and federal government, commercial, private, construction, and utilities and public work projects.
Karen’s goal is for PPS to provide experienced electrical construction to its clients while maintaining a safety conscious workforce. At Preferred Power Solutions, this is done by employing a comprehensive Safety and Training Program, a Drug-Free Workforce Program, and a Supplier Diversity Program.
